My Aim in Life

Aim is very important in life. To have a good life, it is essential to set an aim and start working on it. If a man has no aim he’s like a flower without smell. He cannot get success in his life and doesn’t know what he will do. Different persons have different aims in their life.

I want to be a doctor. In my view it is nobler than any other profession. In my country, there are limited doctors than necessity. My aim is neither for wealth nor for fame but I want to be involved in a noble profession. I want to become a doctor to serve my country by helping the poor people. I want to devote my life for helpless people and so I have chosen this field. I am working hard to achieve my goal. The study of medical science is for the benefit of humanity. By studying it I can cure diseases and fight against death.

There is a proverb that a person without an aim is like a boat without a rudder. So my plan is to become a doctor. There are some reasons for which I have chosen this plan. It is a noble profession. More than 80 of our people live in villages. They suffer from many diseases. But the hospitals and the doctors are very rare in pastoral areas. There are many quacks but they can’t serve them properly. So, it is my choice to be a doctor. I will work in rural areas. I will be in great happiness when I will achieve my goal. I am relatively satisfied with my choice of field. Really, it’s according to my taste and interest.

I am preparing myself for this profession. I know there is a tough competition among the talented students when getting admission in a medical college. So, I am doing hard work. After passing the HSC with a brilliant result, I shall admit into a Medical College. After getting the MBBS degree, I shall go back to my native village and serve my village people. My parents always help me to reach my aim. They are confident of my success. I am always inspired by them.

To recapitulate, a man’s real success in life greatly depends on his proper choice of career. My long cherished aim in life is to bring a desirable change by serving the people of our country. As Words worth said, “A noble aim is as a noble deed”. I shall be happy if I can give people proper knowledge of health.
